CLOUD is a multidisciplinary practice based in Rotterdam, that focuses on architecture, research and design with a particular interest in the materiality of architecture. Architecture has been critical in shaping the world we live in today. As the world changes, architecture of tomorrow needs to evolve in a radical new direction. At CLOUD materiality -matter and meaning – is the starting point of designing viable solutions for a thriving future for society. By using architectural cues and expanding the potential of materiality in our work, CLOUD is constantly pushing the traditional realm of architecture through building communities, spaces and systems at all scales. CLOUD was founded in 2022 by Paul Cournet in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. CLOUD currently works on a wide range of international projects with cultural institutions, brands, and as well as private clients.
